| New Life Neighborhood Gospel FestivalMy name is Lloyd Coaker, Assistant Pastor of New Life Community Church and I am writing to ask your support for the success of New Life Neighborhood Gospel Festival. This event will take place on Saturday, July 25th 2009 at We need your help! Your in-kind donation of various goods and services from your business will serve as a blessing for the children, youth, adults, seniors and volunteers as they work to serve in the neighborhood and solve community issues. Marketing, Promotions and ExposureWe are able to offer your business visibility at our event. In order to make your contribution more visible and to serve as an example for the community, we will distribute material highlighting your positive service to the community. We will include your marketing material in a folder distributed to members of the North Lawndale Community, publicly thank you at the Gospel Festival, and post an ad on the sponsorship section of our website. During the event we can either display a sign thanking you for your generous donation or an announcement will be made to let everyone attending the event know that your business provided the following goods and services. Summer Nutritional ProgramThe Chicago Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) is preparing for the 2009 Healthy Summer Nutritional Lunch Program. This program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). DFSS is the sponsor for the City of What we are doing in our Community The department has agreed to partner with our Church to become a summer nutrition host site and receive free daily meals for children and teens up to the age of 18. The program will operate from Monday to Friday 1:00pm to 6:00pm for the entire Summer beginning June 15 –September 4, 2009. We will serve Lunch and Supper. New

DFSS Host Sites Open sites offer meals to any child in the community without being enrolled in the program’s activities. Enrolled sites offer meals to children who participate in the program’s activities. Camp sites offer a regularly scheduled food service as part of the day camp program.
